Expanding Mandrels And Sleeves

Expanding mandrels and sleeves are used for locating and holding the components with a bore. The component is held by using its internal diameter. The internal diameter of the component rests on the outside diameter of the sleeve.

The purpose of using mandrels is to avoid distortion during precise machining operations. Mandrels are also used to hold the heavy parts with large bores for heavy machining operations.

Diaphragm Chuck

Diaphragm Chucks are designed Primarily for Applications on CNC Turning and CNC Grinding Machines.

It is used for mainly secondary operations like Grinding, Facing & Boring where high degree of Concentricity control is required.

Adapter Plate

Adaptor plates are the intermediate plates between CNC Turning / grinding machine and work holding fixture. Adaptor plates are being mounted on machine spindle nose.

The mounting of adaptor plates are suitable to machine spindle nose specifications. Other side of adaptor plates is as per fixture sizes.
