Pull stud or retention knobs are the link to hold the tool holder in the machine spindle. The pulling forces can be quite high, so superior material and hardening is essential for a good quality pull stud.
BPTL provides the pull studs in the standards of BT-MAS-403, DV DIN 69872 and CV-ANSI.
Locknuts are used to fix the tool in the collet of the collet chuck holder. BPTL provides collet chucks in ER, DA and TG collet. Collet chucks are provided in the various tapers such as BT (MAS403/JIS B 6339), DV (DIN 69871), CV (ANSI B5.50/ISO 7388) and HSK (DIN 69893).
Lock nuts for all collet chucks ER, DA and TG collet are sold by BPTL. The lock nuts provided are ‘flush nuts’ and are available in bright finish and black oxide finish. Lock nut is sold along with the collet chuck and need not be purchased separately. However, as per customer requirement spare lock nuts are also sold.
Wrenches are required for collet chucks, power milling chuck and hydraulic chucks. Wrench is used to fix or remove the tool from the holder.
The wrenches used for ER, DA, and TG collet chucks are provided by BPTL. These would need to be purchased separately and not provided with the holder.
The hydraulic chuck requires allen key for tightening or losing the tool from the holder, this allen key is provided along with each holder and does not need to be purchased separately. However, the reduction sleeve remover which is required for removing the reduction sleeve from the hydraulic chuck or the power milling chuck needs to be purchased separately.
