Description

This improves the overall accuracy and eliminates the error that occurs due to the change in the setup. It also improves the productivity and efficiency of machining by reducing the time required for another machining setup.

BPTL Provides Two Types Of Right Angle Heads

  • Lightweight Right Angle Head
  • This is suitable for holding the tools of small shank diameter in the range from 1 mm to 16 mm. In this head, ER collets of ER11, ER20, and ER25 are used for holding the tools.

  • Standard Right Angle Head
  • This is suitable for holding a wide range of tools with the shank diameter ranging from 1 mm to 26 mm. In this head, the front end is available in both ER collet and ISO tooling. The gear ratio of 1:1 is used in these both Right angle heads and the spindle rotation of the head is opposite to that of the machine spindle. BPTL provides Right angle heads in tapers of BT (MAS403/JIS B 6339) or HSK (DIN 69893).

Advantages of Right Angle Heads
