End Mill Holder

Description

The screw holds the tool in place and prevents it from rotating when machining. This holder is mostly used for milling operations and can also be used in other roughing operations. Weldon Shank holders are predominantly used for rough milling that develops high torque forces on the cutter.

This system of clamping requires the tools with Weldon flat on its shank. The flat on the shank of the tool is held in place by the set screws. The screw holds the tool in place and prevents it from rotating when machining. This holder is mostly used for milling operations but also can be used in other roughing operations.

BPTL manufactures different types of Weldon Shank holder in various tapers such as BT (MAS403/JIS B 6339), DV (DIN 69871), CV (ANSI B5.50/ISO 7388), HSK (DIN 69893), Morse Taper, and Straight Shank. There are two types of Weldon shank designed, depending on the Gauge length and tool diameter. These two design holders consist of a single set screw and another one with a double set screw.

The Weldon shank holder is now also available in the Dual taper contact design.
